Capturing a portrait of Rhiane over the weekend outdoor festival
A couple of weekends back, we met with Rhiane Fatinikun MBE at the Black Girls Hike Weekender. She’s an adventurer, presenter and the founder of Black Girls Hike. BGH is an organisation that provides a safe space for Black women to reconnect with nature.
We were tasked with capturing both still and moving image portrait of Rhiane, catching her amidst the weekend’s busy events to get to know her better. We asked her about her relationship with the outdoors and her longstanding history with her favourite pair of Teva sandals.
