Kestin AW23
The Black Watch Collection
If you spend much time browsing clothes websites and looking at swanky shirts, you’re probably familiar with the tartan pattern known as Black Watch—that really tasteful green, blue and black tartan check loved by the Ivy League. Beyond being just a nice, visually appealing pattern, this stuff has got serious history, and was originally designed to be worn by the Black Watch Regiment—the hardy military division created to police the Scottish Highlands in the late 19th century.
This tough bunch have served as the inspiration for the new clothes from Kestin—with designer Kestin Hare combining that classic tartan with the natural tones of the Highlands to create a collection of winter-ready jackets, functional over-shirts and seriously high quality knits.
